Brief Biography of
Speaker
R.T. Floyd is in his
thirty-fifth year in providing athletic training
services for The
University of West Alabama. He currently serves
as Director of Athletic Training and Sports Medicine
for the UWA Athletic
Training & Sports Medicine Center, Program
Director for the CAATE accredited athletic training
education program, and as Chair and Professor in the
Department of
Physical Education and Athletic Training.
He represents the
Southeast Athletic Trainers Association (SEATA)
and District IX of the NATA as District Director to
the NATA Board of Directors. He also serves as
Member Development Chair on the
National
Athletic Trainers' Association Research and
Education Foundation Board of Directors.
Brief Description of
Presentation
This presentation will
elaborate on several cost cutting concepts that the
presenter has either used and/or gathered from
others over his career. Concepts include ways to
maximize savings on general purchasing, office
supplies, athletic training supplies, rehabilitation
materials, equipment, educational materials, fund
raising, and medical charges utilized by the
presenter.
