Brief Description of
Presentation
Use of allograft versus
autograft in ACL reconstruction is still very
controversial. Age, level of play, type of sport,
and gender seem to be determining factors for
success or failure. The presentation will delve
into this controversy, and help the health care
personnel advise, modify rehabilitation, and counsel
these athletes. Pros and cons of allograft vs.
autograft will be discussed.
