Brief Biography of Speaker

Perry Denehy has been the Head Athletic Trainer for the Sycamore Community School district since 1983.  This position also involves teaching health education and athletic training. In 1980 he received his EMT certification and has been a firefighter/EMT ever since. His involvement with critical incident stress management began in 2000.

Brief Description of Presentation

He will present an introduction and review of the Ohio Athletic Trainers’ Association Critical Incident Stress Management Team.  Crisis Management is a relatively new resource tool designed to assist athletic trainers faced with overwhelming emotional incidents.
