The Southeast Athletic Trainers' Association (S.E.A.T.A.) is District 9 of the National Athletic Trainers Association.  It is a not-for-profit organization dealing with the concerns of its members and the profession of athletic training as a whole.  This association was first started back in 1950.  Initially comprised of the members of the Southeastern Conference schools, this district is represented by Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands.  Of the ten districts of the N.A.T.A., S.E.A.T.A. has one of the largest memberships and continues to grow.  Its current membership is as follows:

S.E.A.T.A. publishes four Newsletters annually (January, April, August, and October) which are online on our recently updated web page www.seata.org.  The Annual S.E.A.T.A. Clinical Symposium and Members Meeting has an average attendance of over 350 members.
