The Southeast Athletic Trainers' Association (SEATA) is District 9 of the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA).  It is a not-for-profit organization dealing with the concerns of its members and the profession of athletic training as a whole.  This association was first started back in 1950.  Initially comprised of the members of the Southeastern Conference schools, this district is represented by Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands. Of the ten districts of the NATA, SEATA has one of the largest memberships and continues to grow.  Its current membership is as follows:

The Annual SEATA Athletic Training Student Symposium has an average attendance of over 550 students and 50 professional athletic training educators.  The Biennial SEATA Athletic Training Educators Conference is held in conjunction with the Student Symposium on even numbered years and usually has an attendance of 150 athletic training educators.			The Annual SEATA Clinical Symposium & Members Meeting has an average attendance of over 300 members consisting primarily of certified athletic trainers from the following employments settings: college & university, secondary schools, clinical, corporate, & industrial, and professional sports.

SEATA is governed by elected officers consisting of the District Director, President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer who serve on the SEATA Executive Board along with the Presidents of the seven representative state organizations of SEATA – Alabama Athletic Trainers’ Association, Athletic Trainers’ Association of Florida, Georgia Athletic Trainers’ Association, Kentucky Athletic Trainers’ Society, Louisiana Athletic Trainers’ Association, Mississippi Athletic Trainers’ Association and Tennessee Athletic Trainers’ Society.

The SEATA Newsletter is published four times annually (January, April, August, and October) and is emailed to all current SEATA members and maintained online on our regularly updated website.  Additionally, SEATA publishes the SEATA eBlast News monthly which is also emailed to all current SEATA members and archived on our web site.  SEATA maintains a comprehensive website, www.seata.org, to serve all of the organizational needs of its members including news, committees, honors and awards, meetings, research, education, history, and related information.

The Workshop Partner, Clinical Education Partner, Lecture Partner and Career Partner options are designed for those who desire to target the attendees of the SEATA Annual Athletic Training Student Symposium & SEATA Biennial Athletic Training Educators Conference.

Plans may be combined if desired to target the attendees of both meetings.

All enrollments and accompanying benefits are for one year (12 months) from the time of enrollment completion and receipt of payment.  Traditionally, most partners renew or initiate in the two month period prior to the meeting at which they wish to exhibit, but enrollment may now be initiated at any point during the year.

Enrollment may be accomplished totally online via our website or enrollment forms may be downloaded and emailed as attachments, mailed or faxed as indicated.
