The 2nd Annual SEATA Quiz Bowl will be held at 7:00 P.M. Feb. 5, 2010 at the Crowne Plaza Ravinia in Atlanta, GA. The winning team will represent District IX at the 2nd Annual NATA Quiz Bowl in Philadelphia, PA. Online

The
SEATA
Student
Senate
Committee
had
a
conference
call
December
8.
The
committee
is
working
hard
to
promote
Student
SEATA
and
Hill
Day.
There
will
be
several
positions
opening
for
the
2010-2011
academic
year.
The
seven
states
in
District
IX
that
will
have
one
student
senate
position
opening
include
Alabama,
Florida,
Georgia,
Kentucky,
Louisiana,
Mississippi,
and
Tennessee.
For
the
committee
to
be
successful,
it
is
important
for
students
to
apply
and
fill
each
of
the
positions.
Applications
will
be
e-mailed
to
all
program
directors
at
the
beginning
of
March
and
will
be
due
April
1st.
Hit
the
Hill
Day
is
February
23,
2010,
in
Washington
D.C.
Any
student
can
attend,
but
they
need
to
register!
Registration
deadline
is
January
22,
and
there
is
no
registration
fee.
Each
state
is
sending
at
least
one
AT,
so
students
are
encouraged
to
contact
their
state
executive
board
in
order
to
communicate
with
participating
ATC
prior
to
arrival
in
Washington
DC.
