CUATC
News |
- Reminder to all Colleges and University Athletic Trainers that the Appropriate Medical Coverage for Intercollegiate Athletics (AMCIA) document is available on NATA.org. Please let me know if you need any assistance in utilizing this document, have feedback or suggestions.
- The NCAA hosted a webinar on July 16 that discussed medical management guidelines for concussions. It was recorded and is available for those that missed it. This was a great educational opportunity and I would encourage all to review it.
- August is a time to review your state practice acts and make sure all of your ATC's are in line with state guidelines, and that your program is as well.
- NCAA is working on a Best Practices for Drug Testing - look for it soon.
- UT Baseball Athletic Trainer Jeff Wood Travels to Italy with MLB International. See www.utsports.com/sports/m-basebl/spec-rel/080610aaa.htm
