Biennial SEATA Athletic Training Educators' Conference
Atlanta, GA was the site of the 2nd Biennial SEATA
Athletic Training Educators' Conference, held February
8-9 in conjunction with the SEATA Athletic Training
Student Symposium. Attendees numbered in excess of 100
educators representing all 10 NATA districts from 24
states. Combined with the SEATA student attendees and
faculty, over 810 attended this joint conference. The
Educator's Conference began with a grant writing
workshop and had various lectures on athletic training
education and the utilization of technology in the
classroom. There were also twenty four research
projects that were presented Friday night at the poster
/ social event. The twelve projects presented by
athletic training faculty are as follows:

Saturday morning was
kicked off by a joint breakfast of student attendees and
educators which allowed for both social interaction and
recruiting between the two conferences.
Co-Chairs Mike Brunet and
Bud Cooper want to thank Program Chairperson Stacy
Walker for putting together an outstanding educational
format. Partners which made this conference possible
