Application Information

APPLICATION ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Minimum of 15 years as a certified member working or living in District IX.

  2. Minimum at least 20 years of service in the profession.

  3. Nominated by a certified member in District IX.

  4. All forms must be completed and returned to the SEATA Hall of Fame Committee Chair by December 31st prior to the induction year.

  5. A Certified Athletic Trainer being nominated cannot solicit or influence the selection process.

  6. A nominee is eligible for re-nomination if the previous nomination was unsuccessful.  All nominations will be kept on file by the Chair for three years.  If after three years, a candidate is not elected into the SEATA Hall of Fame, the candidate must be re-nominated and a new application must be received by the Chair.

SEATA HALL OF FAME CRITERIA FOR CONSIDERATION OF INDUCTION

District Service

  1. SEATA Clinical Symposium & Members Meeting, Athletic Training Student Symposium or Athletic Training Educators Conference Attendance (2 pts each for a maximum of 40)

  2. SEATA Clinical Symposium & Members Meeting, Athletic Training Student Symposium or Athletic Training Educators Conference Chair/Coordinator (3 pts each per year, maximum of 30)

  3. SEATA Clinical Symposium & Members Meeting, Athletic Training Student Symposium or Athletic Training Educators Conference Speaker (5 per presentation, maximum of 25)

  4. SEATA Standing Committee Membership (2 pts per committee, per year served/+1 if chair, maximum of 20 for committee membership + 10 maximum for chair)

  5. SEATA Ad Hoc Committee or Task Force Chair/Co-chair (2 pts each, maximum of 10)

  6. Recipient of SEATA Honors and Awards (6 pts each)

  7. SEATA Annual Executive Board Meetings Attendance as State Organization President/Representative or SEATA Parliamentarian in conjunction with SEATA Clinical Symposium & Members Meeting (2 pts each)

  8. SEATA Elected Officer Positions (4 pts per year served, per Vice-President, Secretary, or Treasurer position, 5 pts per year served, per District Director or President position), Parliamentarian (1 pt per year served)

  9. State President (1 pt per year served)

  10. Other service to SEATA (maximum of 5)
