Call for Presenters
2024 SEATA EducATion Experience & Expo
February 8-10, 2024
Atlanta, GA - Crowne Plaza Atlanta Perimeter at Ravinia
DEADLINE TO SUBMIT: November 14, 2023
The Southeast Athletic Trainers' Association (SEATA) is thrilled to announce a new presentation selection format for our annual EducATion Experience & Expo. The new Call for Presenters format streamlines the submission and selection process for prospective presenters as well as the Education Committee providing improved resources to assist the presenters in building their presentation topics.
The 2024 meeting will spotlight the following primary educational themes:
-
BOC Domain 4: Therapeutic Interventions
-
BOC Domain 5: Healthcare Administration and Professional Responsibility
-
Timely Key Topics: Other subjects currently relevant to the athletic training profession
**It is anticipated that each presenter selected will be invited to present on 2-4 presentation topics (depending on length and format of presentation topics).
What We're Looking For:
We are seeking experienced presenters to address topics within these primary themes. Each session will be identified as a “BOC” CEU course [AT and AT students; AT only] or a non-BOC credit course (AT students ONLY)
Presentation Topic Summaries **NEW**
To assist presenters with selecting topics for consideration, the SEATA Education Committee is providing “presentation summaries”. Instead of presenters creating a presentation abstract for submission, we have created the following guides that will be used in developing presentations. This provides prospective presenters and attendees with a better understanding of the agenda topics that will be presented. Selected presenters will have the opportunity to provide more detailed information with their presentation summaries using the information in the Presentation Summary document as a starting point.
