    SEATA/NATA Foundation Quiz Bowl

    Join us Friday, February 2, 2018 for the 10th Annual SEATA/NATA Foundation Quiz Bowl held in conjunction with the 32nd Annual SEATA Athletic Training Student Symposium.

    The winner will represent District IX at the 10th Annual NATA/ NATA Foundation Quiz Bowl in New Orleans, LA in June 2018.

    Space is limited to 20 teams.

    Registration deadline is January 12, 2018.

    The SEATA Research & Education Committee has planned a strong educational programs for our 2018 Clinical Symposium & Members' Meeting, and we hope that you will plan to join us March 8-10, 2018, at the Crowne Plaza Ravinia in Atlanta, Georgia. 

    Advanced registration for these events will end on Friday, February 15th. .After this date, attendees are asked to register on-site.

    The NATA ATs Care program is collaborating with the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation to offer this Critical Incident Stress Management two-day workshop at our District Meeting.  This workshop will offer 13 hours of Category D continuing education for Athletic Trainers.

    Registration for this Workshop is open to NATA members ONLY.  The cost of this Workshop is $195.  This workshop is scheduled to begin on Thursday, March 8 and conclude on Saturday, March 10.  Registrants will have the option to attend either the SEATA Clinical Symposium & Members' Meeting (CSMM) or the SEATA Athletic Training Educators' Conference (ATEC) on Friday, March 9

    The CSMM is scheduled to offer 3 hours of Category A CEUs and 2.5 EBP hours (pending BOC final approval).  For CSMM details, Click Here.

    The ATEC is focused content for educators and does not fall within the Domains of Athletic Training as determined by the Board of Certification, Inc. and NO CEUs will be offered for this event.  For ATEC details, Click Here.

    The 2018, 7th Biennial SEATA Athletic Training Educators’ Conference will be held March 9, at the Crowne Plaza Ravinia Hotel in Atlanta, GA.  This year’s theme, Transformation in Athletic Training Education” provides its attendees with a diverse experience by offering different model practices and plenary sessions.  Mandy Jarriel, PhD, ATC of Georgia College and Danielle Platt, PhD, ATC, of Troy University are co-chairs of this event.  

    The SEATA Athletic Training Educators’ Conference includes a ticket to the Tim Kerin Awards Luncheon and hors d’oeuvres during the poster presentations/social gathering Friday evening.

    The target audience for this conference are healthcare educators and, as such, does not qualify for Board of Certification, Inc. approved CEUs.  Attendees will only be provided with a certificate of attendance.

    Registration Fees for this one-day conference are $100 and attendees are invited to register for the SEATA Clinical Symposium & Members' Meeting at a reduced cost.  Members must login when registering to receive your CSMM registration discount.

    NATA Members outside of NATA District Nine (SEATA) should contact seatasecretary@gmail.com to get discount.
